The Bay School Faculty & Staff

Our faculty members are masters of their craft and their subject matter.

Bay's teachers are a driving force behind our multidisciplinary approach. They bring creative vigor, experience, and a student-centered philosophy to course design and content, and they are invested in each student’s personal and intellectual growth.

  • 75% of faculty members have advanced degrees.

  • Bay teachers have an average of 14 years of teaching experience.

  • 33% of faculty members identify as people of color.

Our teachers' combined experience and knowledge in their fields offers Bay students access to unique experiences and the benefit of learning with real-world context.

We call ourselves “staffulty,” reflecting our belief that every member of The Bay School community is called upon to uphold and model the school’s values, no matter our role. Many staffulty members serve as advisors, coaches, and sponsors for clubs and affinity groups.
