Kamryn, a graduate of Bay's Class of 2019, is moving deeply into the world of environmental scholarship. She has been selected as a Doris Duke Conservation Scholar and will spend the summers of 2022 and 2023 interning with the program at the University of Washington. The program's aim is "to promote biocultural conservation – a broad endeavor to preserve the integrity of communities, their interdependent members (both humans and other species), and the ecosystems in which they reside."

Kamryn was also a finalist in the 2022 Planet Forward contest sponsored by George Washington University, for her essay "Dear Future Child." She currently attends Middlebury College.
