Jack Jue graduated from Bay in 2014 and is excited to be one of Bay's first alumni trustees. At Bay, Jack found a welcoming, quirky, and joyful community of staff and students. Bay quickly became Jack’s second home, where he participated in the Conduct Review Council, led the Eco Club, and played baseball. He received his BA in social studies from Harvard College. As a Harvard Teacher Fellow, Jack began teaching English and history to underserved students of color in Oakland in 2018. He currently teaches 11th and 12th graders at Life Academy of Health and Bioscience, where he attempts to model Bay's precepts in all his work with students. Jack is delighted to serve Bay as a trustee and give back to the school that enabled him to discover his passion for education.
