Katherine is one of Bay’s founding staffulty members, and it remains her most influential educational experience. After starting her career as a producer and casting agent for fashion and advertising photo shoots, she decided to take the advice of her high school drama teacher and pursue theater work. She has spent much of her life in one theater group or another, having studied and performed with the Improv Performance Lab at Berkeley Repertory Theatre and studied with theater director and actor Mark Jackson. She has also led improv workshops for Bay staffulty, because all great teaching has an element of responsive performance.
