Karen Hellyer
Karen teaches photography, filmmaking, music production, and digital arts, and loves how “all of these mediums can be combined to create new forms of expression.” Students in her classes light up when they start seeing how technology and studio art can intersect to produce something completely fresh. Ahead of her time, Karen was early to the scene of digital arts and created one of the first online high school art galleries.

Precept affinity: We don't rush to judgment. “It's one of the hardest to do and a good reminder.”
