There's no doubt that Wilder's most formative educational experience was as a member of a Spanish Immersion Program from K-12 in Lexington, Kentucky. There, he learned from teachers across an array of subjects from almost every Spanish-speaking country in the world, and grew up with a community of friends and families that maintain a presence in his life to this day. Coming to Bay in 2023 after years as a communications director in the world of college athletics at Stanford and Penn (check out his championship ring collection), Wilder loves the dynamic environment and never-ending stories to tell that a school setting provides. On any given weekend, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Pepper, figuring out what's next on his "to-read" list and playing tennis (or pickleball, shhh!)
