From outdoor education to service learning, Ben’s most impactful educational experiences have been those that placed him out of his comfort zone. As a former teacher himself (science, history, and computer science), he is right at home being in the thick of things with students while overseeing the myriad tech systems at work every minute at Bay. He joined Bay in 2022 and was not shy about making announcements at Morning Meeting; within the first month, he had already showed off his “stupid human trick” of splitting an apple with his bare hands.
