Wendy Holcombe lives in San Francisco with her husband, Carl Kawaja, and their daughter, Noelle '24. Wendy is the Senior Producer for State of the Bay, a local public affairs show on Bay Area NPR affiliate 91.7 KALW. Additionally, Wendy serves on the board of San Francisco Day School and the International Tennis Hall of Fame. She is on the Leadership Council for the University of California, San Francisco's Institute of Global Health Sciences (IGHS) and is involved in various criminal justice efforts, most actively with AMEND at UCSF. Bay has been a great fit for her family, and they are particularly happy with the consistency around message and action at Bay. She says, "I love that Bay really practices what it preaches and is always striving to live its precepts more fully."
